DEURALI: A man has died in a road accident that took place near Deurali in Ratna highway last night.
The deceased has been identified as Raj Kumar Chaudhary, the driver of a jeep (Bhe 1 Cha. 1639) that collided with a passenger bus (Bhe. 1 Kha. 2759).
Seriously injured in the accident, Chaudhary died during treatment at the Teaching Hospital in Kohalpur, police inspector at the District Police Office, Banke Pabindra Kumar Bam said. Chaudhary was a resident of Baijanath rural municipality-2.
The driver’s assistant Manoj Chaudhary and six other passengers of the Jeep sustained minor injuries in the accident.
