Manakamana Temple, cable car to reopen from Dec 13



GORKHA: Manakamana Temple in Gorkha that is closed since March owing to the risk of coronavirus infection will reopen on December 13.

The cable car service will also resume operation from the same day.

A meeting of the Manakamana Area Development Committee held on Tuesday has decided to start worship by adopting security measures.

The committee has prepared a working procedure and stated that even if the temple is opened for the devotees, big worships will not be allowed.

Devotees must adhere to the health safety standards set by the Government of Nepal. Personal details of devotees visiting the famed temple will also be collected.
