NEPSE index registers double-digit growth



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index registered a double-digit growth as the market opened on Sunday.

The NEPSE index increased by 12.49 points and reached 1,648.58 while, the Sensitive Index rose by 1.57 points to 325.94.

A total of 1,863,456 shares of 198 companies were traded at Rs. 3,526,777,261.

Of the total 12 sub-indices traded today, shares of two sub-indices declined while shares of 10 sub-indices rose.

Banking declined by 1.16 points and development bank by 6.76 points.

 Similarly, trade 105.19, hotel 27.75, hydropower 30.59, finance 4.27, non-life insurance 18.79, manufacturing 122.68, others 28.45, microfinance 10.85, life insurance 86.93, and collective Investment fund has increased by 0.15.
