Erstwhile UML cadres organize meeting in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Cadres of the erstwhile CPN-UML cadres gathered in Kathmandu’s Basundhara at a time when ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is undergoing a serious crisis.

The meeting convened by district Chairperson Krishna Rai was addressed by Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel.

“This meeting has been organized to understand the root cause of the ongoing dispute in the ruling NCP,” Rai said suggesting Deputy Prime Minister Pokhrel to play an effective role to keep the party unity intact.

Even though the meeting was organized by the former UML cadres, leaders of the senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal had abstained from the gathering.
