DANG: Mayor of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City Ghanshyam Pandey has contracted the coronavirus.

Mayor Pandey had given a sample for PCR examination after he developed a fever.

A test conducted at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences confirmed that he was infected. The coronavirus has also been confirmed in an employee working in his secretariat.

Mayor Pandey is currently in home isolation, said Press Coordinator Basanta Acharya.
