Kathmandu Valley sees 33 accidents, one death in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley has reported as many as 33 accidents with one death in the last 24 hours.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police, one person died and 29 others were injured in the accident.

Two persons were injured when two motorcycles collided with each other in Dallu of Kathmandu last night.

The motorcycle (Ba 44 Pa 6062) heading towards Paropkar from Sohrakhutte and the motorcycle (Ba 34 Pa 2854) coming from the opposite direction collided with each other at 11 pm last night.

The injured have been identified as Deepak Dangal, 34, of Makwanpur and Manoj Sah, 27, of Ramnagar in Sarlahi district.

Both the injured have been sent to Mahankal National Trauma Center for treatment. Among the injured, the condition of the Dangal is critical.

Police have arrested Tejkant Chaudhary, a rider of motorcycle registered no Ba 34 Pa 2854.
