Rhino found dead in Chitwan

CHITWAN: A rhino has been found dead in the Narayani River in the district.

Information Officer at the Chitwan National Park, Ashok Ram said that the one-horned rhino was found dead at Bhelauji in Nawalpur.

A boat patrol team found around 15-year-old rhino dead on Wednesday.

The rhino was found drowned nearby Gajgraha Post of the CNP.

According to Ram, the legs and horn of the rhino was found as it was. Three rhinos have been found dead at CNP in the past one week.

As many as eight rhinos have been found dead in the fiscal year.
