Sexagenarian from Bara dies of COVID-19 in Birgunj

BIRGUNJ: A sixty-year-old man has died of coronavirus in the course of treatment in Birgunj.

The sexagenarian of Mahagadhimai municipality-19, Bara succumbed to the virus at 10 pm on Monday night, said Dr Atulesh Chaurasiya, the spokesperson for Narayani Hospital.

Diabetes-ridden patient had been admitted to Narayani COVID Special Health Care Hospital on August 30 after his health conditon deteriorated.

His swab was collected on August 30 and came out positive on the same day.
