Heavy rains forecast for three days



KATHMANDU: With the monsoon getting active, the rain is occurring in five provinces of the country, currently.

Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said some parts of Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Province 5, Karnali Province and Sudurpashchim Province are witnessing rains, with the low pressure monsoon trough lying in the southern direction.

According to the Food Information Center, the rain is occuring in Lumle of Kaski, Bahrabise of Sindhupalchowk and Nawalparasi.  Meanwhile, people living along the banks of the rivers have been advised to take  precation.

The MFD has predicted heavy rains for the next three days starting today afternoon.
