Speaker Sapkota undergoes eye surgery



KATHMANDU: The Speaker of the House of Representative  Agni Prasad Sapkota has undergone a cataract surgery for his right eye at Tilganga  Eye Hospital,  Kathmandu on Wednesday.

According to a soure at the Speaker’s Office, a team of doctors led by Dr. Sanduk Ruit conducted the operation on Sapkota for glaucoma at 10.30 am on Wednesday.

Speaker Sapkota was suffering from cataract for some time and the vision was getting blurred of late.

Sapkota himself has paid all the expenses for the treatment.

After successful surgery, Speaker Sapkota has thanked senior doctor Dr. Sanduk Ruit and his team and the hospital family.
