Eight new cases in Banke, one in Bardiya



KATHMANDU: A laboratory test conducted at Bheri Hospital has confirmed coronavirus infection in nine more people.

Medical Superintendent of the hospital Dr. Prakash Bahadur Thapa confirmed eight new cases in Banke and one in Bardiya.

The newly infected people are a 49-year-old man of Nepalgunj-4, a 32-year-old man of Ward No. 20 and a 24-year-old man of Ward No. 13.

Similarly, a 23-year-old man of Khajuraho Ward No. 5, a 36-year-old man of Ward No. 4 and a 35-year-old woman have also been infected.

Likewise, the infection has been confirmed in a 43-year-old man and 23-year-old woman of Ward Nos. 3 and 2 of Khajuraho.

Coronavirus infection has also been confirmed in an 18-year-old man of Madhuwan-6 in Bardiya.
