Wife strikes hubby to death with axe



SALYAN: A woman has killed her husband attacking him with an axe in the district.

The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Dilli Bahadur Gharti of Tribeni rural municipality-6, Bhumkejyula.

Gharti’s 36-year-old struck him to death with an axe at 8:30 pm on Sunday, said Area Police Office, Salyan.

According to DSP Dhakendra Khatiwada, critically injured Garti died while undergoing treatment at Salyan District Hospital.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the assailant into custody.
