Shekhar Koirala criticizes govt for failure to deal with COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Central Member of the Nepali Congress Shekhar Koirala has come down heavily on the government for its failure to effectively deal with the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Posting a twitter message on Monday, leader Koirala has said the government has failed to manage quarantine camps and isolation wards for the people infected with the coronavirus.

In the message, he criticized the government saying that those who tested negative for coronavirus under Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) have been diagnosed with the virus again.

Similarly, those in quarantine have been forced to wait for several days to undergo Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests and it is mostly conducted after the death of the infected, reads the message.
