Parliament to endorse Appropriation Billl, 2077 today



KATHMANDU:  A meeting of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament is taking place today.

To be held at 11 am, the concerned ministers will answer the questions raised by lawmakers over the budget.

Lawmakers have raised various questions on the budget allocated for 21 ministries including the Office of the Prime Minister.

The agendas of the meeting will also include reduction in expenses of the budget submitted by lawmakers.

Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada will table the Appropriation Bill, 2077 in the parliament after the concerned ministers answer the questions raised.

Today’s meeting is also scheduled to endorse the Appropriation Bill, 2077.

The endorsement of the appropriation bill will clear the way for the government to spend the budget once the new fiscal year begins.
