52-yr-old allegedly rapes teenage girl, arrested



RAUTAHAT: Fifty-two-year-old Tek Bahadur Chaudhary of Fatuwa Bijayapur-4 in the district has been arrested for allegedly raping a teenage girl.

Acting on a complaint filed by the victim, police arrested Chaudhary on the charge of raping 15-year-old girl, said Police Inspector of Area Police Office, Bijayapur Chandra Kishor Sah.

The victim had been working as an office assistant at the office run by the perpetrator.

District Court Rautahat had remanded Chaudhary to seven days in custody for investigation into the alleged rape case.

Police are investigating the case after taking Chaudhary into police custody.

A health report of the victim shows she is pregnant for the past few months, said police.
