Death toll in UK climbs to 30, 076 after 649 die in 24 hrs



KATHMANDU: The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) has reached 30, 076 after 649 died in the last 24 hours as of Thursday morning.

According to Worldometer,  with 6, 111 new cases,  the number of infection cases has surged to 201, 101.

Currently, 170, 681 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.   UK has performed tests on 1,448,010  people so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 264,252 and infecting 3,814,593 people as of Thursday morning.
