HETAUDA: Police have arrested a person on the charge of transporting illegal hooch in an auto rickshaw meant for dairy products.

Police seized the 140 liters of hooch concealed in the auto rickshaw, Na 1 Ha 5381, during a security check at Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City-2 on early Tuesday.

According to police, the auto rickshaw was heading to Hetauda from Samari.

Police said they are investigating  the case after taking the  auto driver and the auto rickshaw under control.

The government has banned all the vehicular movements except for essential ones including milk during the lockdown.
