Spain reports 13, 341 deaths; 700 die in 24 hrs

KATHMANDU: Spain, the second worst-hit country in terms of death, has reported 13, 341 as of Tuesday morning.

According to Worldometer, 700 people died in the last 24 hours taking the total death toll to 13, 341.

With 5, 029 new cases in a single day, the number of infection cases in the country has reached 136, 675.

Currently, 82, 897 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals, of which 6, 931 are said to be critical.

Meanwhile, 40, 437 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the COVID-19 has spread to 209 countries, killing 74,565 and infecting 1,345,048 across the world so far.
