MoHP sends teams to identify human resources in all provinces



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has mobilized officials to identify and enlist employees required for preventing, control and treatment of COVID-19 in all seven States.

Ministry Spokesperson Dr Bikas Devkota has said teams have been mobilized to identify the strength of human resources in all the provinces and submit a report on it within three days.

According to him, the teams will submit the report with recommendations on the required number of employees to prevent and control the coronavirus.

He further informed that sample of people who arrived Kathmandu from abroad until the month of first week of April would be tested in coordination with local levels in the Valley.

Dr Devkota informed that sample would be collected and tested with the help of Epidemiology and Infectious Disease Division, Nepal Army and Armed Police Force.

Likewise, 10 ambulances—four from Health Ministry, five from National Ambulance Service and one from Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) have been kept in ready position for coronavirus.
