Three Star beats Sankata to climb to third position

KATHMANDU: Three Star Club (TSC) defeated Sankata Club 1-0 in the ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Friday to climb to the third position in the points table.

At the match played at the Saatdobato-based ANFA Complex on Friday, Ananta Tamang scored the lone goal for TSC in the 61st minute of the game.

Bikram Lama was declared man of the match.

With the win, TSC has got 20 points from 11 games to be placed third in the points table while Sankata has been placed fifth with 15 points from an equal 11 games.
