332 construction companies, suppliers blacklisted

KATHMANDU: The government has blacklisted 332 construction companies and suppliers for not completing their assigned work on time.

Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) under the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers took action against these companies for dillydallying works, not completing them on time, and substandard works.

According to Rajesh Thapa, director at the PPMO, 332 companies and suppliers have been blacklisted in the last 12 years for not completing works on time under the cover of political power.
