KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has increased by 23.96 points to reach at 1,956.7 points in the first two hours on Monday.
The bench mark index which underwent fluctuations at the opening phase of the transactions surged by 1.24 percent during the period of two hours.
As many as 193 companies made a transaction of Rs 3,709,900,000 during the period.
Out of 12 groups, the index of mutual fund went down by 0.64 percent, while the indexes of banking, trade, development banks, hotels, hydro, life insurance, microfinance, non-life insurance, finance, manufacturing and processing increased.
Nepal reinsurance witnessed the highest transaction worth Rs 676 million followed by Nepal Life Insurance with Rs 328.1 million in the first two hours.
