Four killed in road accidents in Kavre and Chitwan



KATHMANDU: Four people have died in road accidents in separate places of the country.

Two people including a police official died in a pile-up in east Chitwan on Sunday night.

According to District Police Office, Chitwan, the accident took place when a motorcycle was hit by a tractor and another vehicle last night.

The deceased is a police constable Sujan Nuepane, 33, of Area Police Office, Bhandara.

Neupane originally hails from Ambhanjyang, Makwanpur.  Similarly, another deceased is 35-year-old motorcyclist Bijendra Chaudhari of Khairahani municipality-7, said DPO, Chitwan.

Critically injured Chaudhari died in the course of treatment at Bharatpur Hospital on Sunday night.

Likewise, two people have died in a motorcycle accident in Banepa of Kavre district on Sunday night.

The deceased are 28-year-old Satyaman Tamang of Dhulikhel municipality-8 and Hari Krishna Basnet of Chautara Sangachowkgadhi municipality-6, Sindhupalchowk, said District Police Office, Kavre.

The accident took place when a motorcycle, Na 12, Pa 7429, and another motorcycle, Bagmati Pradesh 02-017 Pa 2708, happened to collide head-on with each other.

Critically injured Tamang and Basnet died in the course of treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital, said police.
