441 undergoing treatment in ICU and ventilators



KATHMANDU: With the increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the country, the number of people undergoing treatment in ICU and ventilators has increased of late.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as many as 441 people are currently undergoing treatment in ICU and ventilators.

The ministry update revealed on Saturday said there are 76 people on ventilators and 365 in ICU receiving care against coronavirus pandemic.

Bagmati Province has the highest number of cases receiving in treatment in ICU and ventilators.

There are 163 people in ICU and 35 in ventilators in Bagmati Province.

Likewise, Lumbini Province has got 58 people in ICU and six in ventilators and 44 in ICU and 15 in ventilators in Province 1.

Province 2 has eight in ICU and two on ventilators being treated against coronavirus on Saturday.

The Ministry updates show that there Karnali Province has the least number of cases in ICU.

There are 5 patients in ICU in Karnali Province. Similarly, Gandaki Province has 80 people in ICU and 17 in ventilators receiving care against coronavirus.

Similarly, Sudurpashcim Province has got 7 patients in ICU and one on ventilator.
