NC leaders make another bid to settle disputes



KATHMANDU: An informal meeting of current and former office-bearers of the Nepali Congress (NC) and central members convened on a factional basis has started.

The meeting has started at the residence of party president Sher Bahadur Deuba in Budhanilkantha to settle the party’s dispute.

NC leader NP Saud stated that the final homework was being done in today’s meeting to settle the party dispute.

Leaders have been holding factional views on the issue.

Leaders close to senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel are airing their views in favor of the 16-point memorandum registered by them at the party’s central office.

Meanwhile, the leaders of the establishment faction have been protesting against the issues raised in the memorandum.
