JHAPA: People’s movement has been limited at Beldangi Bhutanese Refugee camp after COVID-19 infection was detected in the camp.

Bhutanese Refugee Camp Management Committee has allowed people to come out of the camp only two times a day (8 to 10 am and 3 to 4 pm).

Similarly, the management committee has also banned vehicular movement inside the premise of the camp to curb the pandemic.

Stricter measures have been adopted after a refugee died from coronavirus in the camp. Almost 5,000 people are staying in Beldangi camp.
