COVID-19: India records 49,739 cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: India recorded 49,739 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 8,460,773.

Currently, 516,734 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 7,818,434 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 125,600-mark.

With 576 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 125,605, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
