Province 2 reports 57 new cases taking COVID-19 tally close to 14,000



JANAKPURDHAM: With 57 more cases of coronavirus in the province in last 24 hours, Province-2 case tally of COVID-19 has reached close to 14 thousand.

According to Bipin Yadav, the Public Health Officer of Ministry for Social Development, with 12 cases in Siraha, 10 each in Sarlahi, eight each in Dhanusha and Rautahat, three each in Mahottari and Parsa, one in Bara and two cases from the people outside the province, Province-2 saw 57 news coronavirus cases on Wednesday.

Yadav informed that with the new cases, the number of coronavirus patients in the province has reached 13,943.

The province saw one COVID-19 death on Wednesday taking the coronavirus death tally of the province to 143.

As many as 14 people were discharged after recovery in the province on Wednesday.
