Province-1 witnesses 343 coronavirus cases



MORANG: Cases of coronavirus in Province-1 are increasing with a record-high 343 cases on Wednesday.

According to the Ministry for Social Development of Province-1, the province saw 162 cases in Morang, 135 in Sunsari, 33 in Jhapa, 4 in Dhankuta, 2 each in Bhojpur and Ilam, and 1 in Paanchthar today.

There was one case from outside the province as well.

As many as 1,310 PCR tests were carried out in the province today.

With Wednesday’s cases, the number of corona virus cases in the province has reached 8,447.

10 people were discharged today. With this, the number of discharged people in the province has reached 4,132.
