Hong Kong bans Nepal Airlines for two weeks

KATHMANDU:  Hong Kong has banned Nepal Airlines for two weeks after six Nepali nationals who flew to Hong Kong via the NA flight tested positive for coronavirus,  The South China Post reported.

Hong Kong administration Monday reported 11 coronavirus cases. Among those infected were four locals and seven foreigners including six Nepalis.

They had reached Hong Kong via the flight no. RA4099 of Nepal Airlines on October 3.

Among those Nepalis who tested positive for the virus are four women and two men aged 30 to 72.

Hong Kong has banned NA from October 4 to 17 in line with the 599 H Prevention and Control of Disease Regulations.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,125 in Hong Kong.
