59-yr-old man succumbs to COVID-19 in Banke



NEPALGUNJ: One more person has died from the coronavirus in Banke district.

A 59-year-old man of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City-9 died in the course of treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur on Sunday night.

His swab had been collected on August 29 after  he suffered a bout of health complications on August 28.

He was admitted to Medical College, Kohalpur after his swab test report came out positive on August 31.

Cardiac-ridden patient since the last three years succumbed to the virus at 8 pm on Sunday, informed Naresh Shrestha, the COVID-19 focal person of District Health Office,Bake.

With this, the  number of deaths from the coronavirus in Banke has reached seven.
