Bangladeshi Ambassador calls on DPM Pokharel



KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal Mashfee Binte Shams made a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ishwar Pokharel on Friday at the latter’s office in Singhadurbar.

During the meeting, Pokharel said that the relation between Nepal and Bangladesh was not only limited to the government to government but also prevails on people to people level, the Ministry of Defense said.

Upon completion of her ambassadorial tenure in Nepal, Shams is returning home soon.

Pokharel said that during her stay in Nepal, the Bangladeshi Ambassador played a vital role to further strengthen Nepal-Bangladesh relations.

On the occasion, Shams said that she worked to further deepen the bilateral relations in trade, tourism, water resources and investment promotion.
