Valley’s district administration offices suspend services except essential ones



KATHMANDU: All the three district administration offices in the Kathmandu Valley will be suspending services other than essential ones for two weeks.

A meeting of the chief district officers of all the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley on Friday decided to close all the services provided by the district administration offices except the essential ones.

So far, 674 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 472 are from Kathmandu, 124 from Lalitpur and 78 from Bhaktapur.

The decision was taken after the number of infected people in the Kathmandu Valley has been increasing recently.

Similarly, it has been decided to take strict action against those who do not wear masks in crowded and public places.
