DAO seals Maha Bouddha and Teku areas



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Administration Office on Friday decided to seal Maha Bouddha and Teku in the capital.

The decision to this effect was made following a meeting of Chief District Officers (CDO) of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur districts.

It should be noted that three new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Mahabouddha on Friday.

The meeting has also decided to stop the distribution of passports and citizenship certificates form today until further notice.

Likewise, the meeting also decided to upgrade the isolation and quarantine facilities in the Valley and ensure that the safety standards and protocols have been implemented properly.
