More than 19.2 million infected with COVID-19 globally



KATHMANDU: More than 19.2 million people have been infected with coronavirus pandemic globally until this news was composed on Friday morning.

Until this news was composed, 272,252 were infected with the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of infection cases to 19,238,014.

Over 60 percent among those infected have recovered from the virus. As many as 12,346,089 people have recovered from the virus globally.

The death toll from coronavirus has reached 716, 548 across the world after 6, 261 died in a single day.

Currently, 6,182,381 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 65,252 are critical.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December 2019, coronavirus has killed 205,232 and infected 2,982,576 people in European countries. Meanwhile, 1,793,151 among those infected have recovered from the virus.

In North America, 229,016 have died and 5,912,341 have been infected with coronavirus. Meanwhile 3,147,349 have recovered from the coronavirus.

Likewise, 105,260 have died from coronavirus and 4,774,302 have been infected in Asian countries. Meanwhile, 3,587,185 have recovered.

In South America, 154,609 have died and 4,534,206 have been infected with the virus.

Likewise, 22,114 have died and 1,011,867 have been infected with the virus in Africa. Meanwhile, 693,620 have recovered from the virus.

Similarly, 281 people have died and 21,735 have been infected from the virus in Australia and Oceania.

Meanwhile, 12,620 have recovered from the virus.
