KATHMANDU: More than 5 million people have been infected with coronavirus in the United States of America.
Until this news was prepared, as many as 54,426 people were infected in the last 24 hours.
With this, the number of people infected with the virus has climbed to 5,027,994, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.
As many as 1,107 people died in a single day, taking the total death tally to 162,708 as of Thursday morning.
Currently, 2,292,735 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 18,284 are critical. Meanwhile, 2,572,551 have recovered from the virus.
