Youths protest in front of Chinese Embassy against interference in Nepal’s internal affairs



KATHMANDU: Responding to the Chinese authority’s overt play in Nepali politics, the youths in Kathmandu have protested in front of the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Stating that Nepal does not entertain foreign interference in internal affairs, the youths protested holding the Chinese Ambassador’s photo in hand.

“Neither India nor China, we don’t entertain foreign interference in internal affairs in the country,” Eliza Dhakal, one of the youths protesting on Tuesday explained the cause for protest, “We protested silently against the recent rush of Chinese ambassador meant to influence Nepali politicians and politics.”

The protestors held the placard marked ‘Go Back China’.

The protest was led by Chairman of Nepal Republic Party (NRP) Siddhartha Gautam.

Chinese ambassador to Nepal is overtly visiting the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leaders allegedly to help the party at the brink of a split due to muscling of the senior leaders especially the chairmen duos Prime Minister KP Oli and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
