ASI Yadav arrested red-handed with bribe



JANAKPUR: Assistant Sub Inspector of Police has been caught red-handed while taking bribe in Sarlahi district on Tuesday.

According to the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Bardibas, Assistant Sub Inspector of Police Ram Bishwas Raya Yadav was arrested along with 5,000 kickback.

Further investigation is underway against Yadav who was arrested from his office premises at Ishwarpur Municipality-10, Srinagar, Maharani Bazaar, CIAA said.

The anti-graft body arrested Yadav on the basis of information that he was demanding bribe from the service recipient for the purpose of releasing a motorcycle with Indian number plate.
