27-yr-old who died at Patan Hospital diagnosed with COVID-19



KATHMANDU: A patient who died in the course of treatment at Patan Hospital has tested positive for coronavirus.

Originally from Bhimsen Thapa rural municipality, Gorkha, a 27-year-old youth who sustained critical injuries while trying to hang himself in his own house was rushed to Patan Hospital.

According to Krishna Prasad Sharma, Director of Patan Hospital, the patient who was receiving treatment at ICU of the hospital passed away while undergoing treatment last night.

His swab result collected posthumously came out positive, said Sharma.
