Coronavirus conqueror kills self in Palpa



PALPA: A youth who returned home after recovering from coronavirus has committed suicide in Palpa.

A 20-year-old youth of Rambha rural municipality, who returned home after being discharged from the isolation of Lumbini Medical College in Tansen, killed himself on Monday evening, according to ward chair Bhoj Bahadur BK.

The youth, who had returned home a month ago, had tested positive for coronavirus during his stay in quarantine.

After being diagnosed with coronavirus, he had been kept in isolation at the Lumbini Medical College in Tansen.

He hanged himself with a rope from the beam of his house when he returned home yesterday, according to BK.
