466 coronavirus patients discharged from hospitals after recovery



KATHMANDU: A total of 466 patients recovering from COVID-19 have been discharged from various hospitals in Nepal so far.

On Sunday, 102 patients were discharged from hospitals across the country after recovery.

According to Dr Bikash Devkota, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health, 27 patients of Rupendehi and Kapilvastu from Corona Isolation Center, 12 patients of Jhapa from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan; and 34 patients of Bara from Kailali Hospital, Bara were discharged today.

Likewise, 10 patients of Dang, Banke, Bardiya and Kapilvastu from Corona Special Hospital in Dang were discharged after recovery.

Similarly, one patient of Mahottari from COVID-19 Unified Hospital, Balambu, has been discharged. Likewise, 18 patients of Rautahat Nursing Institute, Gaur have been discharged.

Of the patients discharged on Sunday, 100 are male and two are female.

According to Dr Devkota, as many as 91 coronavirus patients in Province 1; 186 in Province 2; 32 in Bagmati Province; three in Gandaki Province; 133 in Province 5; nine in Karnali Province, and 13 in Sudurpaschim Province have been discharged after recovery.
