Karnali province reports 54 new COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Karnali Province has reported 54 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday.

According to the Social Development Ministry of Karnali Province, the Province has detected 54 new cases today.

According to Dr. Laxmi Narayan Tiwari of the Health Department, Social Development Ministry, the 51 samples tested in the Province Hospital Surkhet and Avian Diseases Investigation Laboratory Surkhet tested coronavirus positive.

Similarly, 3 novel coronavirus cases were detected in the samples tested in Karnali Health Science Institute, Jumla.

Among the new cases found on Sunday, there are 28 from Salyan, 20 from Surkhet and 3 each from Dailekh and Kalikot.

The infected include 3 and 16 year old females and  11 to 60 year old males.
