Weather to improve from today

KATHMANDU: Weather across the country will be improving from today. The country’s weather has remained affected due to the influence of local wind, westerly winds and the formation of a low-pressure system in the wake of Cyclone Nisarga from the Arabian Sea.

The gradual improvement in weather will be seen from the western part of Nepal. According to meteorologist, Meen Kumar Aryal, though the present state of cloud and weather seems the beginning of monsoon, it is all due to the influence of other systems.

Tentatively, monsoon begins in Nepal from June 10. It is estimated that monsoon will make a week’s delay to arrive in Nepal.

There will be generally cloudy at most parts of the country with the chances of light rainfall at some parts of State-1, Bagmati and Gandaki State and one or two places of Sudurpashim State and State-2.

On Monday, there will be generally cloudy at most parts of the country while light rainfall has been predicted at few places of State-1, Bagmati and Gandaki States and one/two places of Karnali, Surupashchim and State-2.
