Six COVID-19 patients discharged after recovery

BIRATNAGAR: Six Indian nationals who were receiving treatment at the Koshi Hospital for the infection of coronavirus has been discharged on Wednesday.

Among the 31 infected persons, six have been discharged after recovery.

The discharged patients exuded happiness and appreciated the government of Nepal for the amicable behavior during the treatment.

They hoped that others undergoing treatment would restore their health with proper management and get discharged.

The Indian nationals had come to Nepal in groups for a religious activity in Nepal.

When they were found infected with coronavirus, the State-1 government admitted them in the COVID-19 Treatment Centre of Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar.

They were brought to Biratnagar with special security from Bhulke of Udayapur on April 17 and 18.

The six Indians were discharged after they were found negative for the coronavirus in three rounds of swab tests via PCR method, according to the hospital administration.
