HUMLA: Tests for coronavirus infection have been stopped in Humla due to the lack of test kits.

Health workers in the district have not been able to carry out the tests on the people who are entering the district by road and by air due to the shortage of test kits.

Authorities said tests have been stalled in six out of the seven local levels in Humla.

Adanchuli rural municipality is, however, carrying out the tests. So far, tests have been conducted on 21 people in this municipality.

District Health Service Office Chief, Prem Bahadur Singh informed that they have run out of coronavirus test kits, leading to halt in testing.

Till date, 774 have entered Humla by road and 480 people by air since April 30.
