Brazil reports 7,921 deaths, 114, 715 infection cases

KATHMANDU: The death toll from Coronavirus in Brazil has reached 7,921 after 578 died in a single day.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, with 6, 449 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 114, 715 as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 58, 573 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8, 318 are critical.  Meanwhile, 48, 221 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 258,003 and infecting 3,724,144 people as of Wednesday morning.
