KATHMANDU: The winter session of Legislature-Parliament has been prorogued.

According to Parliament Secretariat, President Bidya Devi Bhandari prorogued the sessions of both House of Representatives and the National Assembly from Monday midnight on a recommendation by the government.

A meeting of Council of Ministers held on Monday had decided to recommend ending the sessions over COVID-19 fears.
