Nepal, S’pore share points after game canceled due to rain



BANGKOK: Match between Nepal and Singapore under the ACC Eastern Regional T-20 Cricket Championship has been canceled without even going for the toss due to rain.

The game to take place in Bangkok, Thailand was postponed after the pitch became unfit for play because of rain.

Both the teams then shared a point each with the cancellation of the match.

Singapore tops the chart with seven points booking a berth for the Asia Cup Qualifier.

Likewise, the winner of the next match between Malaysia and Hong Kong will book a place for the Asia Cup Qualification.

Nepal have exited from this championship.
