Fraudster held for swindling American job aspirants

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man on the charge of defrauding people by promising them with American visas.

Metropolitan Police Crime division (MPCD), Teku   rounded up 41-year-old Kedar Khadka of Melamchi Municipality-9, Sindhupalchowk, currently staying at Thali of Kathmandu.

Police investigation shows that Khadga has swindled more than people of Rs 30, 000 to Rs 400,000 impersonating himself as the staff of American Embassy in Kathmandu.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking Khadka under control.
