Bhaktapur festival put off



BHAKTAPUR: Bhaktapur Municipality has postponed the ‘Bhaktapur festival’ owing to threats of the corona outbreak.

The five-day festival was scheduled to be held on from 17-21 March.

Bhaktapur Mayor Sunil Prajapati said that they decided to postpone the festival for now.

The municipality had intensified discussion with stakeholders including culture experts, hotel entrepreneurs, bands’ groups, and education workers.
